תקציר
The processes occurring in the course of primary crystallization of a multicomponent molten metal in a weld pool with an unrestricted alloying region are considered. A physicochemical analysis of these processes is performed, and a new theory of carbide formation in a high-alloy iron-carbon weld deposit is proposed on the basis of this analysis. A phenomenological model is developed for primary crystallization of a molten metal in a weld pool. This model allows for the participation of alloying d elements and carbon in the carbide formation during primary crystallization and makes it possible to predict not only the chemical composition of the matrix of the weld deposit but also the quantitative and qualitative compositions of the strengthening phases (primary carbides).
