Effect of noise on the tunneling through a potential barrier

It has recently been shown that a harmonic perturbation of a potential barrier increases the tunneling if the energy of the incident particle is significantly below the barrier height. We show that this result holds even if a noise is introduced into the perturbation of the potential barrier.
