Abstract
Electrophilic substitution in 4-dimethylamino naphthalic acid derivatives is investigated using semiempirical quantum chemistry methods CNDO/2, MINDO/3, MNDO, AM1 and PM3. It is shown that the reaction should take place at 3 position of naphthalene fragment.
