Abstract

Israel launched its new physician assistant profession with its fi rst class of students, who were graduated in October 2017. The program is run by the Ministry of Health's Training and Development Department. This fi rst course was focused on emergency medicine and the plan is to expand to anesthesiology and pathology in the near future.
