Abstract

Data of drop size and mass transfer in the extraction of Cu from an aqueous solution into a solution of LIX 84N in kerosene for several lengths of motionless mixers of the Sulzer type SMV-4 and 3/4 ' diameter is presented. Previous data obtained with same static mixers and other types of mixers will also be presented for background and comparison purposes. (A)
