Abstract
Thermodynamic and kinetic constants of reactions occurring at the liquid metal-oxide melt interface and involving aluminum, boron, carbon and iron were obtained. These results are used for describing the kinetics of the processes with simultaneous transition of the elements through the interface. The experimental data agreed satisfactorily with the calculated data, which made it possible to recommend the equations obtained for use when creating mathematical models of the processes of depositing metal under ceramic flux containing boron and treating steel in a ladle with synthetic slag.
