In+v a+v c− Centres in a KCl‐In Crystal

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A new emission centre (El = 2.43 eV) has been found in a KCl‐In crystal. It is produced by ionizing radiation at 350 K or after thermal destruction of In2+vc centres. It is assumed that the centre in question is an In+ centre asociated with a bivacancy v a+v c−; (In+v a+v c−. The spectral, polarization, and kinetic characteristics of this centre are studied.
