Abstract

Various regimes of injection of dense electron bunches formed by photoinjector guns into the strong guide and undulator magnetic fields necessary for efficient radiation in the regime of the negative mass stabilization are simulated, and possible ways to prevent the drop in radiation efficiency arising due to the degradation of the bunches are proposed and discussed.
