Abstract

The DIS process on nuclei in the framework of LO BK equation with local impact parameter dependence is considered. The solution of the BK equation with the initial conditions of GBW type, found in our paper, Bondarenko (2008) [20], is investigated. The form of used initial conditions is justified with the help of the DGLAP based calculations from de Florian and Sassot (2004) [21], Eskola et al. (1999, 2008) [22,23], Tywoniuk et al. (2007) [24]. On the base of the corresponding solutions the integrated gluon density function and F2 nucleus structure function for different nuclei are calculated. The integrated gluon density function is compared with the different parameterizations of integrated gluon density function from de Florian and Sassot (2004) [21], Eskola et al. (1999, 2008) [22,23], Tywoniuk et al. (2007) [24]. The relative closeness of the obtained curves indicates on the relative smallness of the tripe Pomeron vertex corrections in the kinematic region of interests. The expressions of the functional form of the saturation scale for the proton and nuclei in factorized form as functions of the impact parameter and energy are obtained as well. The values of the saturation scales are relatively small even at small x, that, perhaps, also indicates on the relative smallness of the shadowing corrections in the process.
