N2 - We suggest a new, simple optical technique based on moiré effect, for determination of the permeability of osmotic membranes, under constant hydrostatic pressure. Due to the high sensitivity of the proposed method, the membrane constant can be obtained with good accuracy in a shorter time, compared to other known techniques.
