Abstract

The voltammetric behaviour of aqueous nickel ethylenediamine solutions has been studied. Electrocatalytic oxidation waves were obtained which are attributed to the formation of trivalent and possibly also tetravalent nickel ethylenediamine complexes as intermediates. The mechanism of the electrocatalytic process is discussed.
