N2 - This study postulates that, in addition to economic triggers and organizational age, demographic depletion is an equally significant catalyst of change during crisis. The study analyzes 23 changes measured annually over a six-year span in 53 Israeli kibbutzim. Employing longitudinal econometric analyses, demographic depletion was found to be significant in estimating change intensity, followed by return on sales and organizational age.
