Abstract
This article presents a qualitative analysis of place disruption as experienced by settlers on the West Bank during the Oslo peace process. The.ndings demonstrate that place ideology develops and persists as a response to stress. The article concludes with a discussion of the importance of addressing ideological issues in social work interventions.
