Abstract
The modern era allows for a reexamination of parents' involvement in their children's education as a function of family size. Israel encourages childbirth: "Children are joy."Is that so? Is this a perception of Sectoral-religious only? Is this concept relevant to the era where the individual and excellence Are the dominant values? This study examines Israel as a "case study", whether parents of families with many children - of which there are four and above, show lower involvement in their children's studies than parents of small families. Not all parents can invest in his children, due to lack of time, lack of pedagogical skill, fatigue, pressure from work and more. The more children there are, the parent has to divide between more children or time consumers. Is this reality make each child get a smaller "slice" of the "pie" of abilities and resources? In families of just few children, does each child get a bigger "slice of pie"?The research findings show that there is a clear correlation between parental involvement in relation to family size - the greater the number of children, the less parental involvement. Findings The research sheds light on one of the topics that engages researchers from different fields of knowledge, as for this topic There are economic, social, value, educational and global consequences.
