ملخص
A 61 year old woman with Cushing's disease due to adrenal hyperplasia was treated initially by cobalt irradiation of the pituitary, which resulted in only slight improvement. An antiadrenal and antisteroid drug, op' DDD, in a dose of 3 g/day for three months, and later 1 g/day for more than one year, induced a satisfactory clinical and laboratory remission without side effects. This effective and simple treatment should be considered in appropriate cases of Cushing's disease.
