Small time behaviour of an unstable quantum system

It is shown that whether the initial quadratic behaviour for an unstable quantum system extends up to the exponential region or the system enters an oscillatory region before this, depends on whether the cutt-off of the spectral function occurs at the real part of the pole contribution or much further out.
