N2 - New tuning technology for metasurface intelligent reflecting surface is presented in this study. Photodiode is used as the tuning element in this case. The control over the reflected beam is done by projecting an image to the back side of the reflector rather than using hundreds of D/A channels and FPGA board as it is today.
