ملخص
A study was carried out on a novel composite material based on middle density polyethylene on one hand and thermoplatic chalcogenide glass on the other hand. By studying the optical properties of the composite, it was found that the controlled structure of the composite allows variation in its optical properties. The possibility of producing a composite that is opaque in the visible and near IR, and highly transparent in the 2-25-μm wavelength band was confirmed.
