ملخص
The viscosities of H2O-, D216O-, and D218)O-methanol mixtures were measured at 25 °C. The latter two exhibited both a shift in the position of the viscosity maximum (lower alcohol concentration) and slightly lower νrel values relative to normal water (H2O). Upon applying Eyring's absoslute rate theory to the data, it has been found that a single plot of the excess free energy of activation for viscous flow vs. mole fraction of alcohol fits the date for all three water-methanol mixtures studied.
