N2 - A wireless network with a mesh topology work is reliable and offers redundancy. Broadband modern networks use MIMO and OFDMA techniques. In broadband wireless mesh networks the problems of time, frequency, and space resource allocations are different than in a cellular system and more complicated due to distributed control and management. This document presents an overview of methods and requirements, and identifies some open problems in the field of broadband wireless mesh networks.
