'כפר הנוער הדתי' ליד כפר חסידים: השרשת רעיון ההגשמה הקיבוצי־דתי בשנים 1938–1948

This article describes the development of a farming school (near Kfar Hassidim) in the years 1938–1948, during the British Mandate period. The graduates of this school were to strengthen the Zionist land settlement plans, thus continuing the socialist educational policy within the framework of the religious Kibbutz movement. Many graduates of the school realized this ideology by joining existing religious land settlements and creating new ones.The Youth Village became one of the biggest centers for the preparation of religious students and teachers and for the training of over 600 students. The facilities at the center provided the teaching staff with the tools for training generations of newcomers from Europe and Eastern countries who arrived within the framework of Aliyat Hanoar (The Youngsters' Immigration) program, thus preparing them for the national undertakings of religious land settlement schemes.
